Přeposílané maily

Čas od času dostanu e-mail, který mi sice pošle někdo z mých přátel, kamarádů či rodiny, ale jehož autorem není nikdo, koho bych osobně znal.

Často je obsahem zprávy informace ne příliš lichotivá o tom či onom politikovi, lobbistovi či podnikateli nebo mail obsahuje konspirační teorii o té či oné události. Vždycky mne překvapuje, kolik lidí je ochotno přeposlat informace, které se ani v nejmenším nesnaží ověřit z veřejně přístupných zdrojů – například ze stránek Statistického úřadu (jde-li o interpretaci ekonomických či demografických dat), z obchodního rejstříku (jde-li o členství v dozorčích radách apod.)

Pro mnohé je snazší zprávu přijmout, rozčilovat se nad ní, možná se i děsit a poslat dál, než aby ji podrobili sebemenšímu posouzení – Kdo ji asi sepsal? Komu prospěje? Komu uškodí? Co je na ní pravdy?

Vždy, když podobné zprávy čtu, naběhne mi v hlavě melodie z muzikálu Dracula, kde sbor zpívá: „Jde o peníze, jde o moc!“ a já vím, že se podobného přeposílání účastnit nebudu – než přeposílaný mail, raději svým známým, přátelům a členům rodiny pošlu osobní mail.
